Aquí debería ir la transcripción de un pequeño-gran grito orgásmico. Sin más. Pero bueno, esto merece una explicación. Prácticamente desde que empecé a acceder a youtube, realizo cada cierto tiempo una especie (sustitúyase "una especie" por "una suerte" porque parece que ahora es lo que se lleva en la prensa escrita, sobre todo la musical...absurdas modas) de rutina de búsqueda con una serie de grupos, para mí fundamentales desde un punto de visto emotivo y particular, pero sin obtener ningún fruto, o al menos no el fruto esperado. Es el caso de Shoestrings, The Softies, Even as we speak, Kak, Rachel's, The Vacels, unos cuantos más... y The Popguns!! Y de repente hoy me topo de bruces, no con una, sino con dos de mis canciones favoritas de los Popguns. Los Popguns nacieron en Brighton en 1986 y grabaron para unos cuantos sellos (Midnight Music, 3rd Stone, La-Di-Da y Medium Cool fundamentalmente) hasta su disolución(?) en 1996, pero reconozco que yo empecé a conocerlos gracias al recopilatorio de sus canciones para Midnight Music que editó el sello Cherry Red en 1996, Another Year Another Address. Y me quedé absolutamente hipnotizado con las guitarras aceleradas, con las melodías sencillas y pegadizas, con los ritmos saltarines, y con la voz de Wendy Morgan...
